All proceeds above that of operation (and after taxes) will be donated to help support the scholarship fund at Community Baptist Schools. Community is a small independent school on the south side of South Bend operating as a ministry of Community Baptist Church that has had its doors open since 1976. The school has a current teacher to student ratio of 1 teacher to every 13 students and offers classes from pre-K to 12 grade. The proceeds from this race will be put into an already existing scholarship fund that helps families in offsetting the cost of tuition. More information can be found at the schools web site.
