Race Day Instructions: The race will begin promptly at 8 AM EST. The start/finish area is the Orchard Shores East picnic area. In the event of overflow parking, please use the large parking lot located a few hundred meters up the hill at the Nature Center. There should be ample parking in these two lots. Please do not Park on the grass this year. We will have a mandatory meeting at 7:45AM to go over the course and address any concerns you may have. Bathrooms are located at the Orchard Shores picnic area (vault toilets) and flush toilets and running water are just up the hill at the Nature Center.

Drop downs in events will be allowed this year. If at anytime you need to drop down to the next event you may do so; but, you must announce your intentions to the nearest A/S captain. Your finisher award will show the corrected distance.

The course has three aid stations. Horseman's a/s is 3.67 miles from the start. The Nature Center a/s is located 2.18 miles away with 5.85 total miles. The next a/s is Peppermint road. It is the driveway to the property managers house. It is 3.17 miles away from the Nature Center and 9.02 miles into the course. The final a/s is back to the Nature Center which is 3.87 miles away and 12.89 total miles. The finish is located .17 miles to the west at Orchard shores.

MARATHON RUNNERS: Please check in at each A/S on your final loop.

ULTRA RUNNERS: We will have a area for drop bags at the Nature Center. This is about the center of the course and easily accessed. Pacers will be allowed for the final loop. Pacers must not carry water or supplies for their runner. During the final loop ultra runners and marathoners must check in at each aid station. The course is closed after 6PM. We will have a/s cut offs for this years ultra event. Runners must leave the Horseman's a/s by 3:45PM, outbound Nature Center by 4:15, Peppermint A/S by 5 PM.

Basically runners must maintain a 15 minute mile when leaving Horseman's a/s at 3:45 PM.

I am not in the business of forcing people to drop and every effort will be made to accommodate the runners.

If you have any questions or concerns please give me a call or email.

See you all at the race!
